Even though it's late Friday night that doesn't stop the video game PR machine from pulling a move straight out of Lost, sending us two random images with nothing else to go on; both show some sort of really weird activity: "The Invasion Has Begun." Check out both images below (seriously this was all that the e-mail contained, it did arrive from Electronic Arts PR if that is anything to go on - Crysis 2 perhaps) and let us know in the comments section what you think they may be hinting at. Is it a remake of a classic video game, or something completely new that none of us are expecting? With E3 2010 just around the corner there is no question that this has something to do with a trick mega-publisher Electronic Arts has up it's sleeve. We noticed the Crysis 2 logo shows up in one of the images very Where's Waldo-esq, can you spot it?
Both images appear to show some sort of alien aircraft sticking out of the Earth's crust, but what could they be and what could the statement: "The Invasion Has Begun" refer to; help us out PlanetXbox360.com readers, what do you think? The first place our mind went and some others have already mentioned Crysis 2 (a secret beta or demo perhaps), it has been confirmed via FaceBook that the images do relate to Crysis 2, but on what level?
