Today the multiplayer demo for Lost Planet 2 that was previously only available to those gamers with special codes is now available for download via the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, for all Gold Members; weighing in at just over 500 MB. Follow the link below to Xbox.com to add it to your download queue or find it in the demo section on your Xbox Dashboard (Xbox 360). Lost Planet 2 from Capcom Entertainment will be released on May 11, 2010 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
"In this multiplayer demo, you and 15 other players battle it out on an all-new map, Turbulent Jungle," reads the official description. "Choose from one of two modes popularized in the original Lost Planet: Elimination or Post Grab. All the new VSs, weapons, and support items from the Campaign mode are also available in multiplayer."
About: The next installment of the popular third-person shooter returns you to breathtaking environments, unique Vital Suits and larger-than-life bosses of the world of E.D.N. III. The story picks up 10 years after the original game as players follow the exploits of their own customized snow pirate on their quest to seize control of the changing planet. You’ll be able to play through the intense and action-packed campaign mode with three of your friends on Xbox LIVE. “Lost Planet 2” launches in North America and Europe on May 18, 2010.
