Get Your Early-Access to Halo: Reach Beta at PlanetXbox360
by Eric Bush
The Halo: Reach beta (by using a Halo 3: ODST retail disc) will be available to the public on May 3, 2010 - thankfully though we here at PlanetXbox360.com will be able to give a few lucky fans the chance to play early. As in an entire weekend early; Microsoft and Bungie have provided us with some Xbox LIVE download codes for early access to the Halo: Reach "Friends and Family" beta, which will start at 10:00 a.m. on April 29, 2010 - giving the winners a good head-start over the gaming masses. We do not know the exact number of codes we will be getting (at least 7-10), and we may get more as the day goes on, so if you want to be entered for a code leave just your e-mail address (or Xbox LIVE GamerTag) in the comments section of this article (one entry per e-mail only). Winners will be e-mailed a code later in the week, giving them early access to the Halo: Reach beta. Good luck and have fun entering below in the comments section, see you online!
Update: We will be sending the codes out over the next hour or so; if you haven't gotten one by 6:00 EST it's not coming (sorry) - thanks for playing and the response was way more than we guessed. Remember everyone can play the Halo: Reach beta next week with a copy of ODST, so don't worry too much if you didn't win!
