For that group of gamers out there spending time in the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta (it has already overtaken the Halo 3 beta in terms of downloads) developer Bungie unlocked the Invasion mode for all to test-out and spend some much-needed hours with. A quick description of Invasion mode is (hit the link below for more details): the new mode pits a team of Spartans against a team of Elites in objective-based or team deathmatch games. This also means that players can now check out the "Boneyard" map, which is the only map for Invasion in the beta. The Halo: Reach beta is scheduled to run until May 19th. Additionally, Microsoft will let Xbox Live Silver members to play the beta online during the last three days of the beta.
