3. Kid Chameleon: One of the more unique Sega games, it never seemed to escape the obscure dungeon of being trapped on the Genesis. The narrative of a game about a game that captures children seems strong enough when placed side-by-side against stories like Jericho or EndWar. What makes it even cooler is that when you become the creature, monster, etc of the helmet you pick up and put on, it poses an immeasurable amount of potential given the current platformer offerings on any of the 3 consoles. While I believe that the license of this franchise is currently buried somewhere in development hell, it was an excellent game on the Genesis -- with a little wiggle room and avoiding reinventing the wheel, a new generation could become firmly acquainted with Kid Chameleon.

2. Starfox: The last good Starfox game boys and girls was the remake of a Super Nintendo game as remade for the Nintendo 64, which was then put out on the virtual console to a rabid cult following that couldn't devour it quick enough. My biggest complaint about this franchise is that Nintendo doesn't have a f**king clue about what the hell they want to do with Starfox. Seemingly totally comfortable with letting an awesome character waste away and only be called upon for yet another fighting or racing game, Microsoft should, if Nintendo was not comfortable to sit on the IP forever, take it away and return it to the roots of being an exceptional flight combat game. I don't know why not -- If one company doesn't want to use it, why not make a move and break the egg on exclusivity. Besides, the gamers who grew up playing a Nintendo, SNES or N64 would certainly appreciate it in a way that Nintendo no longer appreciates them -- having opted to go the route of solely appeasing the casual audience.
1. Earthbound: If there is one thing worse than simply sitting on an intellectual property, it's refusing to release it when a significant amount of demand for it's release overseas is ignored for years on end. The series, colloquially known as Mother in Japan was perhaps one of the greatest RPG titles to ever grace the Super Nintendo. So, why do I bring it up here? Because Nintendo couldn't seemingly have more disdain for their fans when it comes to bringing this game to the greater masses. Simply said, if this is the case, it should come as no surprise that the community is a bit sore about it and will find it’s own way around it. Hence why I propose a remastered version of the entire Mother series released on Xbox Live as an arcade package. Even released episodically, the game would most likely print money for whoever got it out there. Failing to foresee a version coming out for the Virtual Console anytime soon, I can only toss my two cents into the abyss of the internet and call for an XBLA Earthbound.

So, which franchise would you want to see released on the Xbox 360 as a full game or an arcade title? There are plenty of games from the NES era I still think could be redone, released and be successful, even taking into account the nostalgia factor that would surely sell at least a few remastered tittles.
