Major Nelson has announced the top list of games played while connected to Xbox Live for the entire year. Some interesting launch titles kept their positions near the top. Hexic HD, the game included with new 360s, has beat all but Gears of War to make its way to the number 2 spot.
The arcade list and top Xbox 360 titles may not match up correctly in relation to XBLA titles, because one (UUs) counts the number of gamertags playing a game, and the other counts the number of purchases. Many gamertags can play one purchased game. Also, since Hexic HD is free, it will show up with lots of unique users, and zero buyers.
