Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (the downloadable game based on graphic novel series which is also being made into a movie later this year) has always been known as a PlayStation exclusive; thankfully today we learned that it's a timed exclusive. That's right, PS3 owners get their hands on the game first, on August 10. The good news is that Xbox 360 fans won't be waiting long at all to join in on the fun, revealed today in some San Diego Comic Con paperwork.
The four-player co-op beat-em-up arrives on Xbox Live Arcade just two weeks later, on August 25, 2010. Start saving those dollars now because Scott Pilgrim vs. The World will run you 1200 Microsoft Points once it releases. Ubisoft's adaptation of Bryan Lee O'Malley's cult comic book, coincides with the launch of the movie, but takes its influence from classic 8 and 16-bit scrolling retro beat 'em ups like Streets of Rage and Final Fight. Stay tuned to PlanetXbox360.com as the Summer passes by for more information on this highly-anticipated downloadable game.
