Lopez bought a customizable Munny doll, which comes with a blank figure, removable parts, and a simple window box which you can use as a template for your own box design. Over the course of 3 weeks he sketched out a Gears of War concept, custom molded some COG armor and painted the final figure.
His website has more images of the figure and goes through the design and build process. I have to admit, I would run out to the store today and buy this little guy at full price.
