If you did not get a chance last year to register for the beta test, and you don't want to
sign up for war or
purchase Crackdown, you might have one last way to get included in the early Halo 3 action. Microsoft announced that thousands of gamers will be able to play their way in.
From February 1st through February 3rd, US residents older than 16 will be encouraged to play Halo 2 over xbox Live. If you log at least three hours of Halo 2 multiplayer gaming, you will then be able to register at Halo3.com for a chance to be included in the beta test. Only the first 13,333 people will be accepted. This method leaves out the young, the silver, and the non-american, so I can't imagine you'll all be thrilled about it. I'm sure number 13,334 will know how you feel.
