Video game developer id Software revealed the release date for it's upcoming highly-anticipated shooter Rage, during it's annual Quakecon today, and it's not coming anytime soon. The Xbox 360 title will be landing on store shelves on September 13th, 2011 in the United States and September 15th, 2011 in Europe. It's a bit odd to hear an official release date so far off but Rage looks to be one of the few games waiting over a year for, from what we saw at E3 2010. Tim Willits, Rage's creative director, commented: "We are going to have the biggest, coolest, most badass launch." Stay tuned right here at PlanetXbox360.com for more information on Rage as the 2011 release date nears.
