Somewhere in Germany at gamescom 2010 a representative for Valve has revealed to the folks at GameInformer.com that Portal 2 will be released for the Xbox 360 on February 9, 2011. In addition, they told them that the very funny British robot Wheatley, who has been featured in all of the trailers for the game, will be voiced by Stephen Merchant. You may recognize him as a writer for both the British and U.S. versions of The Office (as well as an actor in the comedy series). Even though we are sad about the delay we can't help but be happy on the inside that the wait won't be all that long, and with the slew of games coming out this holiday season it's really not that big of a deal that a triple-A game such as Portal 2 will make it's debut in the second month of next year. Stay tuned for more details on the highly-anticipated puzzle game right here at PlanetXbox360.com - as the year before it releases wraps up.
