Treyarch has revealed that pre-orders for Call of Duty: Black Ops are ahead of where Modern Warfare 2 pre-orders were at this point in the release cycle. The Community Manager over at Treyarch, Josh Olin, went on record with Xbox360Achievements.org about just how the game is doing in terms of pre-orders. "They're outpacing Modern Warfare 2's pre-orders. We're outpacing every other Call of Duty's pre-orders to date” stated Olin.
He went on to say "There's still months to go before release, so of course the total number is going to get bigger. At this point in every Call of Duty's release cycle we're ahead in pre-orders though." Black Ops looks like it is setting itself up for another set of record-breaking sales if this trend in pre-orders continues upwards. Call of Duty: Black Ops is set to launch November 9th.
