Mass Effect 2 DLC Lair of the ShadowBroker Detailed/Dated

    by Garrett Grothe

As promised by Bioware there is more DLC coming to Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Mass Effect 2 very, very soon; as in September 7th soon. For the price 800 Microsoft points, you’ll have the chance to lead Shepard and gang into the depths of Shadowbroker’s hiding place in just a few short weeks.

The pack will add new achievements and the Shadowbroker intel center. Liara will also once again be a central character for the first time since Mass Effect 1 with the opportunity to “continue a relationship with Liara” according to Chris Priestly over on the Bioware forums. Looks like Bioware is holding good on their guarantee to bridge the gap between Mass Effect 2 and 3 via DLC.

About: Two years after Commander Shepard repelled invading Reapers bent on the destruction of organic life, a mysterious new enemy has emerged. On the fringes of known space, something is silently abducting entire human colonies. Now Shepard must work with Cerberus, a ruthless organization devoted to human survival at any cost, to stop the most terrifying threat mankind has ever faced. To even attempt this perilous mission, Shepard must assemble the galaxy’s most elite team and command the most powerful ship ever built. Even then, they say it would be suicide. Commander Shepard intends to prove them wrong.
