2K Games has given us another excuse for horrible puns and some new screenshots for the underwater action shooter Bioshock, which the publisher is touting as the next generation of shooters. The two screens don't give us quite as much detail as we would want to see. There is a bit of a wet Condemned going on here, but now that we are fully into the new year, we can look forward to seeing the actual game soon.
BioShock is a revolution in the shooter genre that will forever change the expectations for the FPS. Going beyond "run and gun corridors," "monster-closet AIs" and static worlds, BioShock creates a living, unique and unpredictable FPS experience. BioShock is the Shooter 2.0.
