Not only will Gears of War be pushing the boundaries in terms of what we have seen on the Xbox 360 thus far, it looks like it will be the first Xbox 360 game to be promoted in movie theaters.
As has been posted in the Epic Games - Gears of War forums, a GoW cinema trailer will be shown before the following "R" rated movies throughout July:
- Miami Vice
- Pulse
- A Scanner Darkly
- Clerks 2
- Little Miss Sunshine
As the Epic staff poster notes, will most gamers will definetely have seen the trailer (downloadable here coincidentally), now we "get to see it on a massive theater screen and hear it in badass 5.1."
