These additions can either be bought or found during a quest, and they include indulgences such as a long-range scope, explosive or energy-based ammunition, even a new barrel. And check this out: you can even put biotic implants inside of your character’s body to increase his raw performance. I can confidently say that customization will add two and a half million extra hours of gameplay to an already robust and content-filled endeavor (because who doesn’t want the sweetest avatar on the block?).
But it doesn’t stop there. You are able to choose between three different character classes (the soldier, the tech-specialist, or the biotics-specialist), travel to many different human and alien worlds (Earth, Mars, and Charon to name a few), and defeat the Geth and other enemies in true squad-based action. And what comes as no surprise, Bioware is making full use of the Xbox 360’s hardware in their development of Mass Effect – just look at the screenshots we have!
So I hope that your interest has been heightened, along with the expectations of what this game should, and will, be. The release date has yet to be announced, but be on the lookout during Q2 of this year.
