After a listing at Gamestop.com popped up last week (which has since been removed), it looks as though Epic Games is preparing a Gears of War collection currently titled Gears of War Ultimate. IGN was able to receive confirmation that Epic is indeed planning on releasing some sort of collection from a Epic representative who stated "We can confirm a forthcoming bundle SKU involving the Gears franchise, though this may not be the final SKU name."
While the name implies that it is probably just a collection of Gears of War 1 & 2 as well as each game’s respective DLC, it could also include some form of Kinect support. Epic was rumored to be working on a Gears of War/Kinect project earlier last year, but it also has yet to be confirmed. Cliff Bleszinski was set to announce something GoW-related at the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards, but his announcement was cancelled at the last minute. The initial listing on Gamestop.com had the game scheduled to ship February 15, 2011 at an attractive $29.99.
