In honor of push-back Friday, Zuxxez Entertainment is announcing a slight delay in the launch of their interesting RPG Two Worlds. The game isn't suffering the half-year delays of Assassin's Creed or Age of Conan, and is expected to be available in May, just a few months late.
As reported by Pro-G the company wants to take the time to work out the bugs and make sure the game is balanced to allow for a better user experience. Though I've not been champing at the bit for Two Worls, I appreciate a company taking the time up front to tune up their games, rather than rushing it to launch and patching it later. Patches definitely have their place in the modern gaming world, but the less "beta" testing we have to do on full-priced games, the better.
"It's the atmosphere of a game that really suffers if the balancing isn't quite perfect or if annoying bugs make life difficult - especially in the RPG sector," said CEO Alexandra Constandache.
"We're fortunate enough to be in a position where we ourselves can determine when our game will be marketed - and we have taken the decision to postpone its release for a short time."
