Capcom isn’t quite through playing around with its roster of characters in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds just yet. On the company’s Capcom-Unity web blog today, it introduced Resident Evil’s Jill Valentine (the leather clad one from part five, not tube top and mini skirt type) and Marvel’s Shuma-Gorath as two additional characters, with various screens featuring the two (embedded below). The characters are available as downloadable content through a limited edition offered with the game, which hits stores on February 15, 2011. The package also includes a collector’s comic book, along with special packaging.
No word yet when the characters will be available for those who don’t get the limited edition, but we have a pretty safe guess that they’ll be on Xbox Live Marketplace the day the game’s out…for a small fee, of course. More downloadable characters should be coming soon. We still have our fingers crossed for the rumored Phoenix Wright. OBJECTION!
