Upon the announcement that there wouldn’t be another Guitar Hero game or DJ Hero game releasing in 2011, many folks were wondering if Activision would at least be supporting the two most current releases with additional downloadable content. Sadly, it looks like the party is indeed over. Activision's social media man Dam Amrich stated via Twitted, “We will release the previously announced DLC track and mix packs for February, but we will not be able to release new DLC packs.”
So, yeah, the February Mega Mix pack for Warriors of Rock? That really is as good as it gets. It comes down to licensing, but you really would think that Activision would’ve kept the support going a little bit longer. Too bad.
