Konami has finally given a release date to its oft-delayed downloadable content for the epic Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. It was set to be released on Xbox Live for the Xbox 360 on March 30th, and will run players $9.99 (or 800 Microsoft Points comparatively). When it didn't show up on the Xbox Live Marketplace developer/publisher Konami finally told us that the Reverie DLC had to be delayed on Xbox 360 due to "last minute fixes." No release date was given but you can assume it will be in the very near future; until then you might as well hold onto those 800 MS Points.
In the Reverie add-on content, Gabriel returns to the castle where he finished his initial tale, seeking out the recently-slain vampire queen maiden to learn a little bit more about his fate. The Reverie DLC supposedly sets up a shocking twist that leads into the second DLC pack, which is set to come this summer. This pack features three new stages, packed with all sorts of enemies and surprises.
