WWE All Stars is a splendid arcade-style wrestling affair, with an array of classic WWE wrestlers thrown in with several new ones to answer the age old question – who is the better era in wrestling? Still, as impressive as the roster is (and with new ones being added via DLC, including Chris Jericho, The Legion of Doom and The Big Boss Man), we can’t help but think some wrestlers are missing from this party. With that, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to add ten suggestions for wrestlers we’d like to see in the game. Let’s make this happen, THQ!
Evan “Air” Bourne: One of the best high flyers in the company today, Evan has no shortage of crazy aerial moves in his arsenal. That would make him a great addition to WWE All Stars, as you could easily pit him against Eddie Guerrero or Rey Mysterio and have one hell of a high flying match.
Hacksaw Jim Duggan: HOOOOOOO! Let’s get this guy in the ring and see how much of a chance your opponent stands, tough guy! The legendary WWE wrestler, being inducted into the Hall of Fame this past weekend, features an awesome 3-point stance finisher that would bring enemies to their knees. Plus you have the 2 X 4. Can’t go wrong with a piece of wood!
Wade Barrett: The leader of the Corre (gotta love that spelling) is menacing and doesn’t take any guff from anyone, and he leads one of the most hated cliques in the WWE right now. His finishing move features a nasty roll-up onto the ground that would pulverize even the biggest of men. He’s very good on the technical side, too. Just leave Ezekiel Jackson out of this, thanks.
“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair: Yes, he’s a part of TNA’s active roster, but, um, so is Hulk Hogan, and he made it into WWE All Stars…so why not? Flair is one of the greatest wrestlers out there, and his figure four leg lock is to be feared by any man that steps into the ring with him. Plus he’s a kiss stealing, wheeling and dealing son of a gun! WHOOOO!
Santino Morella: Santino wanted to be in WWE All Stars so badly, he actually did a video with IGN to explain why he would be such a key addition. Well, THQ should officially include him for two reasons. First, the victory trumpet dance. Nuff said. But you need another reason, the cobra finisher is the GREATEST. Period.
