Video game developer and publisher THQ revealed today that a demo for the upcoming highly-anticipated third-person shooter Red Faction: Armageddon will be available for free download on May 3rd, 2011 from the Xbox Live Marketplace. In Armageddon gamers can take the role of Darius Mason and fight through alien-infested sewers as he wards off enemies in an attempt to clear his name of any responsibility of the alien outbreak taking place in the underground cities of Mars. Players will have resources available to them, such as the Magnet Gun and the Nano Forge.
