Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb has provided a preview of games and other content that’s supposed to hit Xbox Live over the next week. Let’s take a look at what he revealed.
First up, next week will bring a number of pirate-related goods to go on sale through Xbox Live starting May 17, including Age of Booty, the Monkey Island games and Deadliest Warrior. Yarrrr!
Xbox Live Arcade will see the release of Gatling Gears this week for 1200 Microsoft points, along with Star Raiders for 800 Microsoft points. Next week, on May 18, we’ll be racing around with Sega Rally Online Arcade, which debuts for 800 Microsoft points.
In the Avatar Marketplace, the Alien Lifestyle collection (aliens have a lifestyle?) will arrive on May 12, and an update to the Halo: Reach Collection will debut on May 19.
Along with the previous announced Retaliation pack for Crysis 2, next week will also bring a new Speed Hunters update for Shift 2: Unleashed. If our guess is correct, we should see a bunch of additional cars come with that pack, along with speed-related tracks.
Finally, in Games On Demand, next week will bring Fable III to the service, so RPG fans can get their adventure on. No word on price, but we’re guessing somewhere around $49.99.
