We can’t wait for the Arcade Edition upgrade for Super Street Fighter IV. To be able to play as Evil Ryu, Oni, Yun and Yang, while also partaking in “Endless Battle” mode and spectate the world’s best fighters in the “Elite Channel”? Nothing beats it. We thought we were going to have to wait till June 28th for the download, since that’s when the remixed retail release hits Xbox 360 for $39.99. But guess what -- we get it sooner!
Granted, it’s during E3 week (DOH!) but we’ll live. The download will be available for $14.99 (1200 Microsoft points) on June 7th, and you’ll need to download a patch first in order to get the content. What’s more, just because you don’t buy the Arcade Edition (for some strange reason) doesn’t mean you won’t be able to fight those that have it. A second part of the patch lets you compete against others who have the content, though we suggest you just go ahead and get it. This is the ultimate edition of Street Fighter, after all.
