We've received four new images for Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia, including a strange bit of character art. Three screenshots give you a basic sense of the way the topdown title looks, which is fairly handsome for a game of this type.
The character designs, on the other hand, border on the obscenely sexy. One character in particular makes the Dead or Alive girls look like Disney characters. I know we've grown used to exaggerated lady parts in our comic-inspired entertainment, and I'm no prude, believe me. The art styule is fun, but the concept seems like overkill in this case.
Running on the Reality Engine, Monster Madness takes full advantage of the most advanced Shader Model 3.0 capabilities, including High Dynamic Range Rendering and fully dynamically lit & shadowed worlds.
