According to a news story from gaming website Joystiq.com, a recent update to an artist’s Linkedin profile lists work that had been done on Wet 2, a game Bethesda was considering at one point. The catch? It’s now listed as cancelled. It has been rumored that several development team members behind the game have been moving on to other projects as well.
On top of that, Bethesda themselves stated, "We are not publishing Wet 2." So unless a miracle occurs or some other publisher is interested, Rubi’s days are numbered.
