The National Basketball Association might be headed for trouble when it comes to union talks sometime within the next year, but when it comes to video game business, things are staying just fine on the court.
The company has announced that it has renewed the video game licensing deals with both EA Sports and 2K Sports, so more NBA games are set to come without interruption. These include the upcoming NBA Jam: On Fire for Xbox Live Arcade, the expected NBA 2K12 for Xbox 360, and hopefully, a new sim game from the EA Sports camp sometime this year to replace the cancelled NBA Elite 11.
The new deal will bring "online and social media" opportunities, according to the NBA.
