Bill Gates Cuts Back Kids Game Time

You'd think that being the daughter of Bill Gates would give you unlimited Xbox 360 gaming time right? Well apparently not, as he just limited his eldest child's gaming to 45 minutes a day. She was apparently not even a hardcore computer user until this year at school when they started using tablet computers for most tasks.

"She became very avid and discovered a lot of computer games, including one that runs on the Xbox 360 called Viva Pinata, where you take care of your garden," Gates told a business audience in Ottawa, "She could spend two or three hours a day on this Viva Pinata, because it's kind of engaging and fun."

Gates explained that he and his wife Melinda had now set a limit of 45 minutes playing games each day on weekdays (plus whatever time is needed for homework on the computer), and a limit of 1 hour on the weekends.
