Unfortunately, MGS: Rising has been reported to be missing from this week’s E3 festivities. Luckily, Konami president Shinji Hirano has said that news for this game “is coming for this winter season.” While talking to G4, Hirano explained the absence of MGS: Rising stating, “The reason why we didn’t mention information on Rising at this moment is because we are making something big, and that is coming for this winter season. So please everybody expect to see some news for Rising this winter season.”
It’s a ray of hope knowing that news is coming soon, but we really would have loved to see some new footage of the game this week, especially after seeing the awesome E3 trailer last year, which can be seen above.
