Armored Core 4 Demo Lands in Japanby Nelson Rodriguez
In the first recent development to get you testing out fake Xbox Live accounts again, Sega has delivered a bite-sized robot snack to the Japanese market. Armored Core 4 is the blood relative of Chromehounds, the other big mech combat title for the 360 that was also developed by From Software. One can only hope that Armored Core cranks the speed up a bit, since From's previous entry bored some fans of the genre with the plodding methodical pace.
Though Microsoft made a big show of waving a finger at fake Live accounts, their main bone of contention was video content, and it is known that people are still using faux accounts for out-of-region demos. I've seen some of your profiles, and I'm pretty sure Florida is not in Asia. If you're brave enough to risk sacrificing a Gold membership for Armored Core 4, please let us know how you like the demo.
Armored Core 4 is the 11th installment of From Software's Armored Core series, despite being titled Armored Core 4. Set in the near future in an alternate universe where a great war has left the nations of Earth devastated and corporations have taken over the role of the government, the game features a system for personalized customization of the player's mech and an online mode where players can battle each other over Xbox Live.
