Bethesda has confirmed that users’ personal data for the developer’s website and the stats site for Brink have been compromised.
The developer stated that usernames, passwords, and emails have been affected by the breach. However, no financial or credit data was obtained by the attackers.
Bethesda urged gamers to change any passwords concerning the website and be cautious of opening any suspicious e-mails or unusual account activity.
Interestingly enough, a warning was issued after the attacks via Twitter by a hacker group known as Lulz Sec.
“We were going to keep this little treasure chest to ourselves, but it appears the hand has been bitten. Say your prayers, Brink users. >:],” tweeted by Lulz Sec.
