Earlier today, we reported that Homefront developer KAOS was shut down by THQ leaving numerous staff members jobless. However, in spite of the bad news, Ubisoft is urging the laid off workers to join the Splinter Cell 6 team.
A few Ubisoft employees tweeted today stating that several positions are open for the development of Sam Fisher’s next adventure.
“Sorry to hear about THQ and Kaos Warrington. We've got some spots at #UbiTO if you're one of those affected #gamejobs” said one tweet.
“Hey # # THQ's Kaos Studios: Toronto is hiring for Ubisoft Splinter Cell 6. Let us know if we can help one another out! # UbiTO.”
It is always nice to see the gaming community lending a hand to one another especially in these tough economic times. Everyone here at PlanetXbox360 hopes for the best for the former KAOS employees.
