Two million Call of Duty fans have signed up for the Call of Duty Elite beta in less that two weeks. Call of Duty Elite is a statistical, social and interactive implementation which will come in free and subscription-based versions. The beta begins in one month, July 14, and Activision is still hoping that even more people register by the time the beta begins. Dan Amrich of Activision recently noted that “two million volunteers among 30 million Call of Duty players is a small amount,” so if you have not yet signed up for the beta, do not be intimidated by the number of entries. If you are picked to participate in the beta, you will receive an e-mail shortly before the beta begins.
The Call of Duty Elite beta begins on July 14 and Call of Duty Elite will launch alongside of Modern Warfare 3 on November 8.
