New Maps for Lost Planet

If you're still trapped in a winter wonderland of bug killing, there are two new maps released by Capcom today to help you along.  Major Nelson lists the multiplayer maps as "Radar Field" and "Island 902".  The downloadable content will cost you 400 Microsoft points, which isn't a high price to pay for expanding your gameplay, but it sure ain't free like the Gears of War maps released a while back.

The maps weigh in at 161 MB, which forces the question:  when is the new 360 with jumbo drive coming?  Unlike episodes of South park, map packs aren't something you're ever likely to delete, and at 150MB a pop, on top of the new 150 MB arcade titles, there's no way the current hard drive can take it.  Microsoft, don't make us binge and purge our content like runway models.  Everybody knows it's coming, so just release the new drive already!
