At the end of the day this arcade game will sell tons of copies whether it is a fantastic upgrade or an exact port of the 1989 original arcade machine. Fans of the series have been waiting for so long to have the chance to replay TMNT over their Xbox 360 and Ubisoft has delivered. Hands-down this is my favorite arcade title on my system (which has over 30 different games) not because of the “new” features but because of the “old” ones. TMNT boasts 200 achievement points attainable through a variety of different tasks such as beating a level in a specific time limit or beating a boss without being injured. The addition of online co-op multiplayer and the other small features are great and add some replay value to an already cheap game. It would have been nice to see a new online mode such as deathmatch or some sort of race mode, but oh well there is always Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade 2 to hope for. Considering it is one of the best (if not the best) arcade games ever made, I can give no other recommendation than “must buy”.
