Who would have thought Microsoft would lend an unintentional helping hand to Nintendo and its portable console? The 3DS suffers from a design issue where the two screens rub against each other when the system is closed, causing the screens to scratch.
Fortunately, the rubber feet along the bottom of the Xbox 360 work nicely when placed along the top edges of the handheld, creating just enough separation to prevent unwanted scratching. If you happen to have a 3DS and are looking for a way to keep those screens nice and smooth, go ahead and give it a try. Nintendo has verified that doing so will not void your warrantee.
