It was only months ago that the incredible teaser trailer for Dead Island was released, generating a lot of interest for the game. Earlier today, Deep Silver and Techland announced that the zombie survival title has gone gold.
The announcement was made early this morning on the game’s official Facebook page. The status post stated that the game had gone gold and is currently in production to be released.
“We are happy to announce that Dead Island has “gone gold” and is now in production! The game will be out in stores on 6th September in North America and 9th September in the rest of the world,” said the Facebook post.
Along with the good news, a new trailer for the title was released, showcasing some intense multiplayer cooperative action.
