This story may fall into the category of “Almost News,” but we believe it's worth reporting. Mike Hayes, CEO of Sega West, recently acknowledged that information regarding Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 will be coming “very soon.” No exact date was given for a Sonic 4: Episode 2 formal announcement, though West prompted people “look out for that one.”
When speaking about Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1, West revealed that, not surprisingly, the game has been pretty successful. “It did very well and it continues to do well,” West boasted. “It's downloaded clearly over a million units, so it's sold particularly well and continues to sell.”
