Deciding between consoles often comes down to a number of factors, though none quite as important as exclusive games. Sure, we here at PlanetXbox360 love the exclusives that come to the Xbox 360 (we wouldn't be working here otherwise) but there are a number of PS3 exclusives that have us riddled with envy.
So without further ado, here are our five most coveted PS3 exclusives:
5. God of War III - While the Xbox 360 may have action titles like Ninja Gaiden, the God of War franchise provides accessible fun coupled with a rich and intriguing universe. Being centered around Greek mythology is a huge win for the franchise and something the 360 is sorely missing. The rich and detailed world of God of War has had 360 fans drooling for some time, and with no action exclusive for the 360 on par with this franchise in sight, missing out on the adventures of Kratos is almost too much to bear.
4. Heavy Rain - This quicktime event driven adventure game is like nothing else in the industry. With a fully fleshed out story and incredibly unique and intriguing cast of characters, this is one bit of innovation that the Microsoft platform really lacks. Quantic Dream started pushing the envelope for what storytelling in games could look like back with Indigo Prophecy, and have now raised the bar even higher with Heavy Rain. I can't wait to see what they'll do next, though it's a shame Xbox 360-only owners will miss out on the fun.
