    Epic Reaches the End of a Trilogy, Gears of War 3 Goes Gold

    It doesn’t look like Epic Games’ long-awaited Gears of War 3 will be going through any more delays -- and a cake is the proof.

    The team has announced that development on Gears of War 3 has gone gold, and the game will make its September 20 worldwide publishing date. And to celebrate the occasion, the team recently received a cake congratulating them on the matter.

    Enjoy, gang -- and then ship us the damn game already!
