It looks like Epic is following the fast growing trend of season passes, as Gears of War 3 will offer the option to pre-purchase the first four packs of content for the low price of $30.
To assure gamers that the season pass will be a worthwhile investment, Microsoft has stated that jumping on board will "guarantee a 33 percent discount on the game add-ons."
The pass will be available when the game launches on September 20 with the first pack set to arrive this November.
