The Bloodbath Arena DLC for Deep Silver’s Dead Island was supposed to launch at the end of September, but this is no longer the case. Since bugs and glitches have plagued the open-world zombie game since its release, the developers are spending more time updating the main game, rather than focusing their attention on downloadable content. Deep Silver has issued a statement regarding the delay, via the Dead Island Facebook page.
“We are working hard to make the Bloodbath Arena DLC available as soon as possible. However, due to further polishing of the main game the finalisation of the DLC code has been delayed. We know that many fans are eagerly waiting for it and apologise for any inconvenience. We expect to announce a release update next week.”
Keep checking in at PlanetXbox360, and when a release date in known for Dead Island’s Bloodbath Arena, we will be sure to post it - stay tuned.
