Eidos: Deus Ex Series has a Mapped Out Future

    by Zach Pint

If you were a fan of Deus Ex: Human Revolution (or maybe just like human augmentations in general) this next bit of news is sure to excite.

Marce-Andre Dufort, from the developer Eidos Montreal, has expressed interest in continuing the Deus Ex story, and has also mentioned that Square Enix would like to see the series go further.

“I know that Wada-san [Square Enix President Yoichi Wada] said he had a plan for the future, but right now we’re celebrating the success of the game, since it’s the first game of the studio,” Dufort explained.

“I don’t know if you’ve seen the credits of the main game, but there were a lot of production babies, so I think people want to spend some time with their families and take some time off. That’s pretty much where we are right now,” Dufort said. A well-deserved break, but hopefully they come back to the studio soon.

“The Missing Link,” a downloadable add-on to the game, is currently being worked on and will release later this month.
