The rumor mill is never slow in the gaming world. In a recent report coming from the latest issue of Xbox World, the magazine claims that Rare, Turn 10, Remedy, and Lionhead are all hard at work developing titles for the still-unannounced Xbox successor.
The magazine writes, "We hear a number of Microsoft-friendly developers are hard at work on prepping next gen games as we speak. Could this be the reason why Remedy are so quiet about Alan Wake 2? (Yes)." The magazine also claims that Rare is developing a Mature-rated game. “Rare, we hear, are even prototyping ideas for a new 'mature title',” Xbox World wrote of the famously quiet company.
Xbox World also pointed to Microsoft-friendly companies such as Turn 10 and Lionhead. “Lionhead and Turn 10 all have teams in place too,” the magazine reported.
Every once in a great while, the rumor mill turns out some truths. Lets hope that these rumors have some substance.
