Five brand new games were released for the Xbox 360 and Xbox Live Arcade this week, most notably Dead Rising: Off the Record and Read Dead Redemption GOTY Edition.
Capcom's Dead Rising 2: Off The Record brings back fan favorite Frank West and places him in Fortune City, Nevada. West is in town for a reality show spot, when hordes of zombies ruin his good time. The game was released on October 11th, 2011 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
The Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition released yesterday as well. The Olde-West shooter comes with the original game, and all of the DLC that has since been released. This includes the much-appreciated Undead Nightmare, as well as the newly released Myths and Mavericks DLC.
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, Namco's revamped action-flight simulator launched on October 11th to round off the notable retail releases. Our very own Robert Workman thought the game was quite an improvement for the series (read his review here.)
Guardian Heroes released today on the Xbox Live Arcade. The classic Sega title features online co-op, multiplayer modes, and much improved graphics. It will set gamers back 800 Microsoft Points.
Lastly, Real Steel is also premiering today on the Xbox Live Arcade. The game is based on the film of the same name, where players control giant robots and battle them on a big stage. The more matches you win, the more you can customize your robot. There is a single player campaign as well as online multiplayer. This game also costs 800 Microsoft Points.
