The developers for War of the Worlds, a side-scrolling XBLA game based off of the 1953 sci-fi flick of the same name (which was adapted from the H.G. Wells novel), have announced on their Facebook page that their game has a release date.
Other Ocean says the game will be released on October 26th on the Xbox Live Arcade. Releases on the PS3 and PC will be announced at a later time.
