Epic Games is throwing one more Gears of War 3 event to celebrate “Epictober.” The developers will be adding a new playlist called “BoooooomSnipes.” BoomSnipes is a Team Deathmatch playlist, in which all players will spawn/respawn with a Boomshot and a sniper rifle as their default weapons. It could get pretty crazy.
Epic Games also revealed that the company has a special surprise planned for players that pop in Gears of War 3 on Halloween. They don’t spoil the surprise, but it sounds like you will want to play a few matches that day.

The “BoomSnipes” playlist will count a point toward the “War Supporter” Onyx Medal, which is needed for gamers hoping to get that achievement.
