Another Gears of War 3 DLC pack has been announced. The third pack to be announced since Gears 3's release, the "Versus Booster Map Pack" will include 5 maps: Clocktower and Bullet Marsh from Gears of War 1 will be getting makeovers, and Azura, Blood Drive, and Rustlung from the recently released "Horde Command Pack" will also be included in the pack. The Versus Booster Map Pack will be released on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, and it will be free on that day.
If you love the Gears of War 3 Versus multiplayer, but don't really play the Horde mode that much, it will definitely be worth holding off on purchasing the "Horde Command Pack," as you will get the maps for free, rather than paying 800 Microsoft Points. However, it should be noted that the Versus Booster Map Pack will not include the Horde fortifications, nor will it include the new characters and weapon skins.
The Versus Booster Map Pack will be available for free on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th.
