We haven't seen or heard much of anything about Kojima's upcoming Metal Gear spinoff Rising for quite some time now, and a new change of leadership may be the reason for the game's delay in development.
Kojima Productions producer Shigenobu Matsuyama has been heading up the project ever since Kojima announced that he would be stepping away from Rising in order to find time to pursue other projects. Now it looks like the leadership role is changing hands again, this time to Yuji Korekado.
The news was confirmed by a tweet from Kojima Productions' Kenichiro Imaizumi. It will be interesting to see what Kojima and his team have planned for the game's big reveal at the VGAs next month.
